Our shop, since it's inception in 1967, has been actively involved with the Suzuki Method. Two of our staff members have had children progress through the method and our sales manager, Susan Miller, has taught cello in Utah for many years. We stock an extensive selection of violins and cellos in all sizes and quality levels. Suzuki Method Instructional materials are stocked as well, and for parents in Northern California who are seeking a teacher for their child, we can refer teachers in your area.

Introduced by Dr. Suzuki in the eighties, the Petite Demonstration Bow is again available. Just ten inches long, it conveniently fits in your instrument case, purse, or pocket. The Petite Demonstration Bow is handy (keep it in your pocket!) for demonstrating bowing techniques to both groups and individual students, when carrying your full size bow is inconvenient.
Our Petite Demonstration Bow is made exclusively for us in Germany. This is a very well made octaganol brazilwood bow, with ebony frog, quality horsehair, and a nice wire/leather grip, which plays surprisingly well. It is sure to be a real attention getter with your students and a useful teaching tool as well.
